published multiple book chapters and articles in medical journals,
including on regenerative medicine, chronic tendon injuries, Tenex and
concussion management.
Dr. Sussman takes pride in promoting the patient experience, and
tailoring the treatment to fit each patient. Dr. Sussman has a clinical
interest in the use of ultrasound to diagnose musculoskeletal injuries
and regenerative medicine, with a focus on using minimally invasive
procedures including platelet rich plasma (PRP), stem cell
injections and Tenex. Commonly treated conditions include arthritis, chronic
tennis or golfers’ elbow, trigger finger, rotator cuff tears, calcific tendonitis, hip bursitis, patella
tendonitis, Achilles tendonitis, Haglund deformity, and plantar fasciitis. Dr. Sussman also
manages acute sports injuries and has completed specialized training in
sports-related concussions. He has a clinical interest in
post-concussion syndrome, and working with the athlete to develop a
personalized return-to-play plan.
Dr. Sussman has published articles on ultrasound to diagnose
musculoskeletal injuries, regenerative injections and minimally invasive
